SM-TCC-VCSEL-based 800 Gbps Linear Drive Pluggable Transceiver

Abstract

We developed the world's first SM-VCSEL based 800 Gbps LPO transceiver. By adopting 8ch-1060nm high-speed TCC-VCSEL array with superior linearity, the TECQ of 2.1dB and 2km SMF transmission with 5pJ/bit were successfully demonstrated.
