A tellurium (Te)-based suspended-core fiber (SCF) consisting of dual chalcogenide glasses has been fabricated for the first time using a combined extrusion method. This image shows an optical microscope image (500X) of a cross section of the four-hole Te-based complex SCF. See Wu et al. Optical Materials Express 8, 1341-1348 (2018).
