Extremely low light scattering in nanostructured glasses formed by simultaneous nucleation and diffusion-limited growth of particles: modeling: erratum

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present an erratum to our Letter [Opt. Lett. 45, 3645 (2020) [CrossRef]  ]. Labeling errors in one figure and corresponding sentence in the text are corrected. The corrections have no influence on the results and conclusions of the original Letter.

The designations of the curves shown in the field of Fig. 3 of Ref. [1] should be changed. The correct designations are shown in Fig. 1 of this erratum.

Accordingly, the sentence (p. 3647, end of the left column and beginning of the right column) that begins with “Examples of simulated PCFs…” should be replaced by: “Examples of simulated PCFs are presented in Fig. 3 for size groups 6 and 7 whose contributions to independent light scattering are 14% and 25%, respectively.” We note that none of the results nor the conclusion is affected by this correction.
