FPGA Prototyping of CCDM with On-line Configurable Probabilistic Distribution Based on Parallel Arithmetic Coding

Abstract

The real-time CCDM and inverse CCDM were realized in an FPGA. The DM and inverse DM achieved a throughput of 16.8GBaud and supported on-line reconfiguration to realize different entropies with fine granularity.
