Real-time Demonstration of Photonics-assisted W-band 23 Gbps PS-64QAM DMT Signals over 40.5-m Wireless Based on FPGA

Abstract

We have experimentally demonstrated, for the first time, FPGA-based real-time photonics-aided W-band with envelope detector (ED) 23 Gb/s probabilistic shaping (PS) 64QAM DMT signals over 40.5-m wireless link, which creates the longest wireless distance and largest rate for an ED-based photonics-aided W-band wireless transmission with real-time in the world.
