High-Density Weakly-Coupled 4-core MCF with 160-μm Coating for O-band Application

Abstract

We developed weakly coupled 4-core multi-core fiber with 100-μm cladding and 160-μm coating suitable for O-band applications, which achieves an impressive core density of 9.8 times higher than that of conventional single-core fiber.
