Real-Time Demonstration of Softwarized Low-Complexity Timing Recovery by CMA Filter Interpolation for Baud-Rate Sampling DSP

Abstract

This paper proposes a low-complexity timing recovery method and demonstrates the real-time softwarization of a baud-rate sampling DSP suite. It achieves a 38 % reduction in processing time with no penalty in sampling phase tolerance.
