Parameter Estimation of Semi-Conductor Optical Amplifier Booster based on Digital Signal Processing

Abstract

We propose a method for SOA characterization using conventional coherent transmission signals, including dual-polarization signals. Using 16QAM signals, we demonstrate that this method can be applied for several baudrates and wavelengths.
