Experimental Disaggregation of Propagation Effects in Optical Links

Abstract

We introduce a protocol to evaluate experimentally the fiber nonlinear coefficients for intra- and inter-channel effects. We characterized a three-span transmission using highly dispersed QPSK signals, observing good agreement with the eGN model.
