Tbps IM/DD Transmission over 10 km SMF with O-Band Quantum Dot Laser Comb for DCIs

Abstract

We report a record-high Tbps DWDM transmission over 10km using a packaged 1.3 µm InAs/InGaAs quantum dot comb laser. The BER below the HD-FEC level is achieved for 1.4 Tbps PAM4 and 1 Tbps PS-PAM8 transmissions.
