Noise Analysis for the Communication System Using High-Speed DAC and ADC

Abstract

System performance dominated by the high-speed DAC and ADC imperfections is experimentally investigated. Modelling based on ENOBs and/or SINADs turns out to overestimate the performance while orthogonal additive noise model, which has low correlation with the signal PAPR, is shown to enjoy higher accuracy.
