Spatial light interference microscopy (SLIM) experiments were done using live neuron cultures. SLIM Results obtained from a single neuron stained with anti-polysialic acid IgG are compared to fluorescence confocal microscopy images. For details, see Wang et al., Opt. Express 19, 19907 (2011).
