Ribbon-scan images of mushroom body in a Drosophila brain. It shows that the whole MB structures stay stationary without noticeable movements throughout the stimulation. Moreover, the neural firings were highly correlated with odor stimulations. For more see the paper by Hsu et al., pp. 3190-3193.
