This publisher’s note corrects errors in Eq. (2) of Opt. Lett. 43, 5480 (2018) [CrossRef]  .

In Ref. [1], Eq. (2) was incorrectly displayed as

n^1=cosϕsinθ+sinϕsinθcosθ,n^2=cosϕsinθsinϕsinθ+cosθ,r12=d(cosϕsin2θ+sinϕsin2θcos2θ),
when the correct equation is
n^1=cosϕsinθx^+sinϕsinθy^cosθz^,n^2=cosϕsinθx^sinϕsinθy^+cosθz^,r12=d(cosϕsin2θx^+sinϕsin2θy^cos2θz^),
The Letter was corrected online as of 2 November 2018.
