Abstract

Continuous-wave phase-conjugate wavefront generation via real-time holography in Bi12 SiO20 crystals is presented. The efficiency of the device is analyzed in terms of wavefront reflectivity. Electro-optic configurations allowing gain in the reflected wave intensity are considered. Applications include real-time imaging through phase-disturbing media, optical processing, and interferometry.
