Abstract

We appreciate the Comment by Glückstad et al. [Opt. Lett. 28, 1075 (2003)] in the sense that it allows us to clarify an inherent possibility of counterfeiting phase-only encrypted information and some important points in our original Letter [Opt. Lett. 28, 304 (2003)]. We also take this opportunity to show the usefulness of the method that we described.
