Abstract

A theoretical limitation on the neuron numbers (N × N) of a spatial interconnection system based on a lenslet array is analyzed. To improve the limitation, we propose a submatrix coaxial interconnection architecture. Off-axial aberration is decreased, and high light efficiency is achieved. A detailed analysis is given.
