Abstract

High-resolution spectra of the X1Σg+A1Σu+ band of molecular cesium at λ = 1.06 μm have been measured. An absolute wave-number reference table for lasers emitting at λ = 1.06 μm has been established. The cesium resonances are calibrated with respect to the well-known molecular-iodine absorption lines at λ = 0.53 μm. An accuracy of 10−7 has been achieved.
