Abstract

High-efficiency high-power cw dye-laser operation has been achieved from 875 to 1084 nm by pumping two styryl derivatives with an Ar-ion laser. Peak output powers as high as 900 and 750 mW were obtained around 925 and 980 nm, respectively.
