This visualization shows the output beam of a thulium-doped fiber amplifier analyzed with a camera that captures 100 frames per second. The video reproduces the frames at a reduced rate of 5 fps in order to visualize the dynamic changes of the beam profile at the output facet of the fiber. See Gaida et al., Fig. 6 for details.
