Abstract

A simple algorithm for detecting and calculating the coordinates of point objects on a digital image is presented, in which the problem of the dependence of the results on the intrapixel position of the object’s projection in the frame is solved using an adaptive selection filter. Detection is carried out via multilevel threshold segmentation of the source frame and its filtered copy.
