Abstract

A test bench for the evaluation of pulsed laser rangefinders without field testing is described. The test bench makes it possible to simulate measurements of the distance to objects in a wide range, to check the alignment of the axes of the rangefinder channels, and to monitor the energy and shape of the laser radiation pulse at wavelengths of 1.06 and 1.54 μm. The accuracy characteristics of the test bench are estimated.
