Abstract
The spectrum of a new compact mercury lamp with a power consumption of less than 1 W is presented. Spectrograms of the source in the range of 115–400 nm are analyzed. Along with atomic lines, the lamp spectrum contains intense ion lines of mercury. In the wavelength range of 115–230 nm, the source spectrum is formed mainly by ion lines. Tables with the relative intensities of the spectral lines are provided. The lamp is designed for calibration of spectral instruments operating in the ultraviolet region.
