Abstract

This article compares the energy U absorbed during two-photon interband resonance, calculated for the cases of quasi-steady-state optical radiation and femtosecond laser pulses. Comparison of the dependences of U on the laser pulse width obtained for these cases showed that the greatest differences occur when the photogenerated charge carriers have short pulse-relaxation times.
