Abstract

This paper discusses the instability of the angular position of the directional-pattern axis of the radiation of laser diodes with Fabry–Perot cavities operating in the wavelength range 635–660 nm. Our results give a representation of how the axis “drifts” and how this behavior depends on the lasers’ operating conditions.
