Abstract

This paper describes an automatic optical digital device for measuring deviations from rectilinearity, based on the well-known principle of sighting at an optical mark. Using a digital video camera with the corresponding software as a photodetector made it possible to completely automate all the measurement operations and significantly increased the measurement accuracy.
