Abstract

This paper discusses the possibility of suppressing a beam reflected from a film-weakly-absorbing-substrate structure. It is shown that, by satisfying the condition of the first interference minimum, the reflected beam can be almost totally suppressed in the region of sufficiently large angles of incidence.
