Abstract

This paper describes an automatic positioning system for the objective stage of a microscope, based on a new method of controlling a dc electric drive. A description is given of the hardware and software of the positioning system. The characteristics of a three-coordinate positioner of the objective stage of a microscope based on this method are presented.
