Coordinate-sensitive devices based on anisotropic optothermal cells

Abstract

This paper shows that anisotropic optothermal cells are promising as modulation-free coordinate-sensitive selective linear arrays, detectors, and two-dimensional arrays for determining the coordinates of point sources and radiant-flux distributions in broad spectral and dynamic ranges.
