Modelling the thermal-vision images of terrestrial objects

Abstract

To model the thermal-vision images of terrestrial objects having internal low-power heat sources and forced ventilation of the compartments, as well as to increase the accuracy of the modelling in the absence of internal heat sources, it is proposed to calculate the temperature regime of the objects, taking into account their thermal balance with the environment. It is shown that, depending on the state of the environment, the air temperature inside an object with no internal heat sources can be either higher or lower than the atmospheric temperature, substantially affecting the temperature contrast of the objects with the underlying surface in these cases.
