Abstract

This paper discusses the principles of three-dimensional laser scanning as a method of obtaining high-accuracy data on the shape and size of objects. The results of the practical use of the Leica HDS3000 laser scanner for imaging architectural structures and historical monuments are presented as an example of the possibilities of this method.
