Abstract

Theoretical investigations have been carried out of the thermooptical distortions of a very important element of the self-contained system for ensuring the thermal regime of a solar limbograph—a quartz light filter that attenuates the power of the radiation flux by a factor of 100. The requirements have been determined for a number of design and process parameters of the filter to minimize its thermal distortions so that they satisfy the tolerance Λ/50, and it is shown that it is possible to implement in practice the required values of the parameters.
