Abstract

This paper presents the results of studies of electronically tunable filters for the near-IR, whose operation is based on acoustooptic interaction in a fiber when bending acoustic vibrations are excited in it. Transverse excitation of the fiber with longitudinal acoustic waves is used to excite the bending vibrations.
