Abstract

This paper proposes four algorithms for spatially estimating the pulse noise that make it possible to enhance the quality of procedures for the digital filtering of optical images. The indicated algorithms and the filtering procedures based on them are numerically studied for various pulse-noise intensities. Examples are presented of image filtering with the use of a known algorithm and one of the proposed algorithms.
