Abstract

A physicomathematical model is proposed that establishes the regularities of the behavior of the correlation characteristics of the radiance (the correlation and linear-regression coefficients) in spectral intervals of the visible and IR regions, depending on the properties of the objects of observation, the parameters of the process of natural heat exchange, and the imaging conditions. © 2004 Optical Society of America
