Abstract

The results of an investigation of how preliminary, subsequent, and simultaneous lighting by white-light sources affect the characteristics of recording media and image quality have been generalized for holograms recorded in copropagating beams of pulsed radiation in the green region. The conditions under which pulsed holograms can be recorded under natural illumination are determined. © 2004 Optical Society of America
