Abstract

This paper presents the spectral response of a thermal viewer that converts radiation in a nonlinearoptical crystal. The thermal viewer operates in the near-IR region (0.8-2 µm), using LiNbO3, LiNbO3:Cu, LiIO3, a-HIO3, and KTP crystals.
