Abstract

This paper proposes an analytical method for optimizing the parameters of focusing diffraction gratings and of systems for using them. The estimators used in the calculations involve integral criteria for estimating the quality of the spectral image, taking into account aberrations up to third order inclusive, the shape of the surface with lines, and the diffraction efficiency of the lattice, as well as the method of illuminating it.
