Abstract

This paper describes a color night-vision imaging rangefinder that supports increased range, as well as the capability for remote transmission of images, real-time image processing, and precise measurement of the range to an observation target. This problem is addressed using a device that includes three separate television channels with a large-aperture optical system, an electronic image processing unit that outputs the video signal to a radio transmitter with a rod antenna, and a laser rangefinder channel.
