Abstract

This paper discusses problems related to the performance verification and calibration of blackbody simulators, which are used for determining the characteristics of optoelectronic devices operated in various spectral regions. It is shown that the brightness temperatures of a blackbody simulator differ in various spectral ranges at the same thermodynamic temperature. The averaged corrections to the thermometer readings of the radiator being certified and the correction magnitudes calculated at a specific radiation wavelength are compared.
