Parameters of single-lens quasi-aplanats in the visible and IR regions

Abstract

This paper discusses the conditions under which the corrections of the aberrations of a thin lens in the visible and IR regions can be regarded as aplanatic. The same conditions are considered for a lens one of whose surfaces has a nonspherical shape.
