Abstract
The intensities and wavelengths of the spectral lines of line spectra have been measured with a spectral device having multielement linear photodetectors with various widths of the photosensitive element. It is shown that the measurement error decreases for a definite relationship of the width of the photosensitive element and the half-width of the spread function of the spectral device.
