Shaping off-axis aspheric optical elements in a single block

Abstract

This paper presents methods and facilities created at the State Institute of Applied Optics Scientific Manufacturing Organization, some fairly recently, for fabricating and monitoring off-axis aspheric optical elements. These methods are useful in the short-run optical production of such items.
