Visual navigation with a time-of-flight camera

Abstract

This paper presents a real-time visual navigation system that uses a time-of-flight camera with no a priori knowledge of the scene. A method of combining time-of-flight and optical cameras is considered. Methods that take color and spatial information into account to increase the localization reliability are considered.
