Abstract

This paper presents data on laser rangefinder-binoculars developed and produced at OAO S. A. Zverev Krasnogorsk Factory. The illuminator of the rangefinder is a pulsed semiconductor laser, and the detector is a silicon avalanche photodiode. The main parameters and characteristics of the items are presented, and a functional diagram of the rangefinder channel is considered. Ways of improving the rangefinder-binoculars are pointed out: increasing the maximum measurable distance, enhancing the measurement accuracy, and creating modifications with a set of additional options.
