Transmission and reflection spectra of a layered anisotropic medium with random orientation of the optic axes of its elements

Abstract

Computer modelling is used to investigate the optical characteristics of a layered anisotropic medium with random orientation of the optic axes of the structural elements. It is shown that regions of selective reflection exist in such a medium for a definite set of physical parameters of the sample.
