Dispersion properties of narrow-band metal-dielectric filters

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of induced-transmission filters with several thin absorbing films. It is shown that a metal-dielectric filter with two resonance cavities provides broad-band cutoff with large slope of the wings of a narrow transmission band.
