Abstract

This paper discusses a fundamentally new class of optical elements - gradient-aspheric lenses. A calculation and an aberrational analysis are carried out for a lens with a gradient-aspherical layer, taking into account its fabrication, using the latest vacuum technologies. © 2004 Optical Society of America
