Abstract

The quantum statistical properties of the superposition state involving a coherent state and a squeezed vacuum are investigated. Such states can enhance the squeezing parameter and the intensity compared with the incoming squeezed vacuum state. Also, the antibunching effect can occur in such states under certain conditions.
