Abstract

The spectra of ionized Ru, Rh, and Pd, emitted from laser-produced plasmas, have been photographed in the 200–400-Å region. From these observations we are able to identify many lines arising from 4s24p–4s4p5 transitions in Se-like Ru, Rh, and Pd and also the 4s24p5–4s4p6 doublet in Br-like Ru, Rh, and Pd. The classifications are based on isoelectronic comparison with multiconfiguration Dirac–Fock calculations.
